Pressure washing dirt from house siding

What we do

Wash It Off Before It Eats In

In this climate, algae and mildew are not a cosmetic problem. Left alone they hold moisture against your siding, stucco and wood, and that is what actually shortens the life of a surface.

We match the method to the material. Hard surfaces like driveways and pavers take real pressure. Siding, stucco, screens and roofs get a low-pressure soft wash with the right cleaning solution, because blasting them drives water where it should not go and can strip a finish outright.

It is also the first step of any repaint. Paint will not bond to a chalky or dirty wall, so a proper wash is the difference between a coat that lasts a decade and one that peels in two seasons.

How it works

One Process. Premium Results.

01

Assess Surfaces

We identify what is on there and what each surface can take before choosing pressure or a soft wash.

02

Protect & Pre-Treat

Plants soaked, fixtures and openings covered, then a cleaning solution applied to break down growth.

03

Wash

Worked methodically top to bottom at the right pressure for the material, so nothing gets etched or driven behind the wall.

04

Rinse & Inspect

Everything rinsed clean, plants watered down again, and a walkthrough with you before we pack up.

Pressure Washing FAQ

What is the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?

Pressure washing uses force and suits hard surfaces like concrete, pavers and block. Soft washing uses low pressure plus a cleaning solution and is what we use on siding, stucco, screens and roofs. Using high pressure on those would damage the surface and force water behind it.

Will it damage my paint or siding?

Not when the method matches the material, which is the whole point of assessing first. High pressure on soft or aged surfaces can strip paint and force water into the wall, so those get a soft wash instead.

How often should I have my house washed?

Once a year suits most Central Florida homes. Shaded or north-facing walls and anything under trees tend to grow back faster and may want it more often.

Do I need a wash before painting?

Yes, and it is included in our exterior painting service. Fresh paint will not bond properly to a dirty or chalky surface no matter how good the product is.

Do you protect the landscaping?

Plants get soaked before we start and rinsed again after, and fixtures and openings are covered. It is part of the job, not an add-on.
